As the CEO of Estacar Companies, I lead and develop entrepreneurs. I've had the privilege of coaching and facilitating accelerated growth for over 85 organizations over the last 17 years. As an entrepreneur and coach, I am honored to lead a team of experienced professionals to provide executive coaching and professional services for highly motivated, growth-oriented organizations and individuals. I am originally from the DFW area and was raised in the family business and entrepreneurship. Having chosen Amarillo as my home for the last 20 years, I now own two businesses and am very passionate about our community and our future. I am married to Daniel Burns and have two amazing daughters Taea and Tylar.

HR Generalist with over 17 years of progressive HR knowledge and experience including benefits, compensation and payroll, staff and policy development, employee relations, technology and records management, and legal compliance. Strives to create and maintain an employee-focused culture that emphasizes quality products and service, continuous improvement, and high performance throughout the organization. She brings this wealth of experience and focused motivation to her work with Estacar Companies.
She received her bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University in Business Administration and Management. She has received her certification for SPHR in 2010, and SHRM-SCP in 2015.
SERVICE, COMMUNITY & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: Professional member - SHRM 2008 - Present, Board member Panhandle Human Resources Association, 2018-Present. Proud owner of 2 rescue dogs. Served as a billet parent for Amarillo Bulls Hockey, 2010-2012.
Ellen Graham is a Fractional Executive and Accounting Administrator for Estacar Companies. She has over 36 years of experience working in accounting and finance. She has worked in a variety of industries including oil & gas, travel agency accounting, real estate and personal finance. She uses her attention to detail and analytical reasoning to help each client run an efficient accounting department.
Ellen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She and her husband, Greg have lived in Amarillo for 36 years. Her skills include a working knowledge of transactional accounting including accounts payable, revenue/accounts receivable, payroll including government reports, property tax analysis and preparation/analysis of financial and management reports.
Ellen’s community service involvement includes Amarillo Komen Race for the Cure- Underwriting Co-Chair for 3 years and 2018 Honorary Chairman, Amarillo Symphony Ball Committee-Special Events Co-Chair, High Plains Food Bank and Amarillo Little Theatre volunteer, Junior League of Amarillo member 1984-2000. She currently serves on the finance board for Haven Health Services.
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR, FRACTIONAL EXECUTIVE
Kara Word has over six years of experience in the business of banking, with knowledge and experience ranging from banking operations to loan administration. Kara has also worked in the non-profit sector as a Director of Development gaining knowledge and insight on creating development plans, developing social media and website plans, grant writing, event planning, and fundraising. Accompanying her analytical abilities, she uses her unique creative talents as well and is able to easily transition between accounting and communications. In addition, Kara is focused, dedicated and highly skilled at task management and project development, all the while keeping the client's larger goals in focus. Kara enjoys working alongside a team and encouraging an environment of collaboration and positivity.
Kara earned her Bachelor of General Studies from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX.
Kara is an environmentalist who strives to provide environmental education and tools to the local community for bettering the planet for current and future generations. Kara has created content on environmental wellness in Amarillo, TX and strives to share her knowledge with compassion and patience. Kara is vegan and loves introducing new food and products that are vegan and environmentally friendly.
SHAWN ROBINSON, MBA
EXECUTIVE CFO, CONSULTANT
Shawn has over 24 years’ experience as an operations and finance executive having served in various roles such as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Trust Operations, Certified Financial Manager, and Senior Marketing and Business Analyst. His diverse experiences expand across multiple industries including safety services, manufacturing, fuel services, wholesale, transportation, construction, insurance, banking, and financial services. Shawn flexes his professional skills through all aspects of financial analysis and strategic initiatives, and champions customer-centric operational management that enhances business growth increases revenues and drives profitability.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He anticipates the completion of his Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) designation sometime in 2018. Shawn, his wife, and their two children live in Amarillo, Texas.
KARLA CUELLAR, MBA
ADVISORY EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTING & COMMUNICATIONS
Karla is bilingual with 3+ years of experience in business, with an accounting focus. She received her bachelor's in accounting. She just graduated from West Texas A&M Univerity obtaining her MBA in Marketing. She has worked for the past 3 years as an accounting analyst in the insurance industry. She has participated in an external audit of large companies and has served as an intern for Ernst & Young. She serves the clients of Estacar with her tenacity, creativity, and dedication.
She has served as a volunteer as a Catechism Kid teacher in 2018.
JAMES SWARTZ, BBA
TAC Assistant Manager and Implementation Officer
James is a 2020 West Texas A&M University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He believes that the secret to business is hard work, a strong work ethic, and surrounding yourself with a great team. In addition to his degree, James has also served in leadership roles for numerous charitable organizations. He serves the clients of Estacar using his love for learning and passion for creating a great workplace.
In his off time, James likes to enjoy craft beer, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
Accounting Student WTAMU, Accounting Intern
Ryley is currently an Accounting student at West Texas A&M University. He has worked in customer service in the coffee industry for the past 10 years. He has traveled across Texas and New Mexico competing in coffee competitions. His job included training 30+ employees, while also developing several Training programs for the company. He has developed a deep passion for local businesses and strives to always be apart of the community of Amarillo. He serves the clients of Estacar with his adamant attention to detail, passion for business and excitement for growth.
He has competed and qualified for several regional competitions for the USTA men’s tennis league. He has also spent time volunteering on several mission trips in Detroit, Dallas, New Mexico and many places here in the Panhandle.
